Butoh and Noguchi Taiso Workshop
We will experience the structure of walking in its entire spectrum in a new way. Diving into the evolution of walking from reptiles to quadrupeds to upright walking will give us valuable informations and approaches.
Poetic images (allegories) will help us grasp walking in its metaphysical whole.
With the newly gained knowledge we dive into improvisation.
The subjective world of experience is expanded to include the universal (archetypal).
Daily walking is thus transformed into a playground of new experiences and discoveries.
Who is it for?
The workshops address professionals in dance and theatre as well as amateurs of all ages.
Teaching will be in English, German or French, according to the language of the participants.
